Cable Embrace is finished and blocked and ready to go in January. This was a lovely knit. The pattern held my attention throughout, and the Knitpicks Superwash I used for the scarf (brick red) knits up like a dream. I did a total immersion blocking with a touch of vinegar in the water to set the color. Now it’s as soft as warm butter. My next scarf, Irish Hiking, is already on the needles. I’m using Lamb’s Pride Worsted for this one. So far, so good. Hope everyone is enjoying knitting for this worthwhile project as much as I am. A picture of my scarf is in the uploads section.

I’ll have to try the vinegar trick. I am only about 1/3 through my first scarf…

Hi Heather,
I’m having a devil of a time figuring out WordPress. I tried to upload a picture of my scarf to go with my post and it didn’t happen. It’s in the uploads part, but never made it to my post. Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks, Sue J (momsure84)

Sue, I haven’t used that function before. I will check the WordPress FAQ. Normally what I do is host my photos on another site (generally I use Flickr.com) and then I click the insert image button when I am writing a WordPress entry, and then enter the http address for the photo.
I don’t know whether this is helpful or not - I’ll get back to you if the FAQ has any info.

Here is the only info I could find. See if you are following these steps?
